Zimride
Zimride is a ridesharing program that helps drivers fill their empty seats and passengers find rides. Zimride's unique approach allows students to stay safe by opening their rideshare information to only the University of Richmond network, or open it up to the University's trusted partner, Virginia Commonwealth University. Zimride is great for University breaks, is cheaper than airfare and train fees, helps share travel costs, and reduces environmental impact. It's also a good way to connect with others in the UR community looking for someone to share the commute to campus.
To get started, visit the University's Zimride website and use your netID to log in. Drivers and passengers can post the start and end points of your drive, departure times, and the amount passengers are requested or wish to pay. Both drivers and passengers can search for others that match their criteria in the network.
