Transportation News Updates

Winter Break office hours for Parking & Transportation Services will be as follows:

8:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday, Dec. 8-Tuesday, Dec. 23
Office Closed, Wednesday, Dec. 24-Friday, Jan. 2
8:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Mondat, Jan. 5-Friday, Jan. 9

The office will return to normal operating hours on Monday, Jan. 12, at 8:30 a.m. Enjoy your winter break!

GRTC will operate as normal with the exception of Decmeber 25, 2014 and January 1, 2015.  For all other University shuttles check on each individual shuttle's page here for their holiday schedules.

The Hop Shuttle will not be operating from Friday, Nov. 28, 2014 thru Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015. Service will resume on Friday, Jan. 16, 2015.

The Daily Connector has a route change.  It now stops at the Walgreens (Ellwood & Thompson) in Carytown instead of Thompson & Grove. 

Check out our new Friday/Saturday shuttle The Hop.  It travels to Carytown, Downtown, Shockoe Bottom and more.

Transportation Services at University of Richmond and Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) are partnering to provide safe travels for students.  UR students can now request a guest pass to ride VCU’s RamRide Campus Connector and the evening shuttle, RamSafe.  VCU Transportation Guest Passes are issued by UR Parking and Transportation online or in person.
